Bilal a 17 years old Kurdish boy from Iraq sets off on an adventure-filled journey through Europe in the hopes of reaching England to meet his love who lives there. Bilal finally reaches the shores of Calais, but has no idea how do you cover 32 kilometers of the English Channel because he can't swim. Bilal soon discovers his destination is not as easily achieved as journey led him to imagine. In Calais he comes into contact with a community of struggling illegal aliens who know nothing about France. This immigrant drama is driven by the uses of documentary austerity and minimalist style, to deliver emotional impact.
