American journalist Bob Wilton journeys to Iraq after being unceremoniously dumped by his girlfriend, who has been having an affair with his boss. Befriending Lyn Cassady, a guy who claims to be a former member of the U.S. Army's First Earth Battalion, Wilton learns about the clandestine military unit that employs paranormal powers in their missions. The founder of the unit has gone missing and the trail leads to another psychic soldier who has distorted the mission to serve his own ends.
