American journalist Bob Wilton journeys to Iraq after being unceremoniously dumped by his girlfriend, who has been having an affair with his boss. Determined to prove he is not a loser, he goes in search of a story, and ends up meeting a man with the most remarkable story of all. Befriending Lyn Cassady, a guy who claims to be a former member of the U.S. Army's First Earth Battalion, Wilton learns about the clandestine military unit that employs paranormal powers in their missions. The founder of the unit has gone missing and the trail leads to another psychic soldier who has distorted the mission to serve his own ends.

Flash is awoken one morning with a phone call from Angel - just recently released from prison - demanding the £500,000 he left with him for safe keeping. However Flash has raided the stash and is now short of the full amount and has only one day to find the money, escape a rival gang, the police and his granny.
